Week 5, Training 9
The Couch to 5K training is a 9-week program that we will complete just in time for the Carlsbad 5000 on April 6th.
Training consists of 4 days per week; we will train together weekly on Mondays and Fridays and the other 2 days will be "homework".
This is a run/walk program, building in time and distance over the course of 9 weeks. While this course is designed for new runners, anyone can join us! Training is FREE, but registration for the Carlsbad 5000 is not. Participating in the Carlsbad 5000 is not required to complete this training.
We will start our training at Running Center in Temecula. As we build in time and distance, we will move our training to other locations for variety and change of scenery.
