We are taking on Monserate Mountain Trail in April!
This is a challenging trail with lots of ups, some rocks, some rutted parts, some concrete, some stairs, and beautiful views. You'll definitely want to bring water and maybe a snack or two to eat at the top. If you have trekking poles, bring those, too! There are different routes to take to the top, but we are doing the 5 mile loop which should take us approximately 3 hours.
There are no fees to hike this mountain, and there are no bathroom facilities at the trail head or anywhere along the trail.
